Tybee Island, like many cities, has a large number of cats that are cared for by members of the community. In fact, on Tybee, taking care of the kitties takes "the village".  

Irritable Pelican Artisan Gallery is pleased to announce its new initiative, "Feed the Community Kitties. 
Friends of these kitties have made earrings in a variety of designs, shapes and sizes, and will be selling them for $10 per pair. 

These fabulous earrings, which were once guitar picks, are upcycled to feature Pepper, our local spokes at.  Pepper hangs at the Police Dept, and often acts as an ambassador for those going into the public service building.

ALL profits from these sales are going to be used to provide food and care for these precious creatures that the Tybee community calls "ours".
