A Home for Local Artists

We’re downright tickled (in a salty, pelican‑ish way) to showcase the creations of more than 35 wildly talented local artists and artisans. Every single piece—whether it sparkles, hangs, spins, smells like driftwood, or begs to be worn to brunch—was made right here on our beloved islands.

Hunting for fine art? Craving artisan jewelry? Need a wearable masterpiece or a gift that screams “I got this on the coast and you didn’t”? Our ever‑changing collection is packed with meaningful treasures just waiting to charm you.

The Irritable Pelican Artisan Gallery, Tybee Island

Our flagship Tybee Island location is where this whole beautifully chaotic adventure began. Packed to the rafters with more than 3,000 eclectic creations from over 30 local artists, this gallery practically hums with creativity, color, and a little coastal mischief.

Stroll through and you’ll find fine art, artisan jewelry, handmade clothing, pottery, décor, and souvenirs so uniquely Tybee you can practically hear the ocean bragging. Whether you’re wandering in for the first time or you’re one of our beloved regulars, The Irritable Pelican is an essential stop for discovering one‑of‑a‑kind treasures before the pelican decides to keep them all for itself.

Eye-Candy, St. Simons Island

Our St. Simons Island micro-gallery is nestled inside Eye-Candy at Redfern Village. Though smaller in scale, it’s packed with handcrafted items that embody the laid-back beauty of island life. From original artwork and jewelry to specialty gifts, this space lets you take home a piece of coastal creativity. It’s a warm, welcoming spot where visitors can experience the artistry of our makers in a more intimate setting.

Tabby Trading Company - Darien's Coastal Boutique, Darien

In the heart of historic downtown Darien, our micro-gallery joins forces with Tabby Trading Company to offer a coastal boutique experience unlike any other. Here you’ll find local art, handcrafted goods, and seaside-inspired décor that celebrate the natural beauty and culture of the Georgia coast. It’s a charming stop for travelers and locals alike, blending artisan creativity with the cozy feel of a small-town boutique.

Giving Back to the Community

Our story began just one month before a global pandemic, and thanks to the incredible support of locals and visitors, we’re still here and thriving. In gratitude, we’ve committed to giving back to causes close to our hearts, including The Children’s Fresh Air Home and The Tybee Turtle Project. We’ve also partnered with other local galleries and businesses to support additional community efforts, and we plan to continue these efforts for years to come.

A Safe & Welcoming Space

Your comfort and safety are important to us. That’s why we follow strict health and safety practices, including face coverings, sanitization, and reduced occupancy protocols, to ensure every visit is both safe and enjoyable.
