This young windmill palm, located near the end of US Hwy 80 on Tybee Road is a survivor. In recent years, it has survived two hurricanes, a tropical storm, and countless “super tides”.  You can see this young palm and many others as you make your way from Savannah to Ft. Pulaski or Tybee Island.
